(H)GW□-12(40.5)/630-20 outdoor AC high-voltage disconnect switch is an outdoor high-voltage electrical equipment with a rated voltage level of 10kV, 24kV, 40.5kV. It is used for opening and closing high-voltage lines under no-load conditions and for electrically isolating high-voltage lines with live maintenance of high-voltage buses, circuit breakers, and other electrical equipment.
It can also be used for opening and closing small capacitor or inductor currents. This series of outdoor isolation switches comply with GB1985 “AC High Voltage Isolation Switches and Grounding Switches,” IEC60129 “AC Isolation Switches and Grounding Switches,” and GB/T11022 “Common Technical Requirements for High Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear Standards.”
Ambient condition
Altitude: ≤1000m.
Ambient air temperature: Upper limit +40°C, lower limit: -30°C in general areas, -40°C in extremely cold areas.
Wind pressure: ≤700Pa (equivalent to a wind speed of 34m/s).
No frequent severe vibration.
Ordinary installation locations should be free from gases, vapors, chemical deposits, salt spray, dust, and other explosive, erosive substances that would seriously affect the insulation and conductivity of the isolation switch.
Pollution-resistant types are suitable for heavily polluted areas but should not have substances that could cause fires and explosions.
