The LW8-40.5 series outdoor high-voltage sulfur hexafluoride circuit breakers are outdoor-installed, three-phase AC 50Hz, rated voltage 35kV high-voltage electrical equipment that uses SF6 gas as the arc-extinguishing medium. They are primarily used for switching and breaking the rated current and fault currents, switching and breaking capacitor banks, and can be used for frequent operations in transfer circuits. Additionally, they can serve as a disconnecting circuit breaker, enabling control and protection of power transmission and distribution lines.
The circuit breakers are equipped with the CTI4 spring operating mechanism. Each circuit breaker can be fitted with 6-12 sets of bushing-type current transformers.
